Get to know landscape photos

Landscape photography is a type of photography that captures natural scenery with a wide angle of view. This article will explain in detail how to take landscape photos including a glimpse of the tools needed and techniques in general. This is the first step for those of you who are learning photography and understand what landscapes are.

Landscape photography showcases the vast and endless spaces of the world. Landscape photos generally feature nature because they fall under the nature photography category (see the article Types of Photography). However it is not uncommon for many landscape photos to also feature man-made objects or buildings.

One of the other characteristics of landscape photography is that there is little to no human activity in it. It is empty of people and purely nature with subjects such as landforms, weather, and ambient light being very clear.

1.     Landscape Photography Motivation

The main motivation of photographers is the same as that of painters, who love beauty and want to capture that beauty in their way, in this case, the natural beauty around them.

Some take up landscape photography because they are motivated to appreciate the beauty and sustainability of the natural environment. A successful example is William Henry Jackson in the 19th century who was able to convince Congress to create the Yellowstone reserve in the United States from a collection of his photographs.

Renowned photographer Ansel Adams, known for his black-and-white nature photos, received a conservation-related award and medal from the President in recognition of the influence of his work on wilderness preservation and raising environmental awareness.

Some take landscapes because they happen to be traveling far and want to make memories or document the places they visit. Then show others the dimensions he has visited. And of course, there are also those whose motivation is commercial which is usually done by professional photographers.

2.     Landscape Photography Subject

Landscape photography will generally incorporate into the photo the natural elements of the land, mountains, sky, and water in the distance. It is taken during the daytime when sunlight is still abundant to get maximum exposure. Although it can often be done in the morning, evening, or night with more difficult techniques, the results are generally more dramatic.

Photos of scenes that have man-made elements such as fields, gardens, and architecture can be considered a type of "landscape" photography, as long as they are not dominant compared to the natural elements.

3.     Landscape Photo Equipment

photo equipment as follows:

·       Camera

·       Lens

·       Memory card

·       Tripod

·       Filters

·       Camera bag

·       personalized medicine

4.     Conclusion

Landscape photography is one of the relatively easy photography to learn for beginner photographers. With available equipment and an understanding of basic photography techniques, as well as a willingness to experiment or practice continuously, one can easily get beautiful landscape photos.

The ability will continue to exist and subsequently become a subconscious instinct, making it quick for him to know the angles of beautiful natural scenery to capture.

Mengenal Foto Lanskap
